Don’t skip a meal!

Dental appointments haven’t been known to be convenient and oftentimes you might find yourself skipping a meal to get to the appointment. No one needs someone who has just been to the dentist with low blood sugar so here are a few places you can stop to make sure you’re well-fed and ready to tackle a day that involves dentistry!

Luckily, right in the Eagle Creek complex, we have a great selection of grab and go cafes and quick lunch spots like Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Cobs Bread, Subway and Quality Foods. If you’re looking for a tad more ambiance the list provided below can be your map to a relaxing and local meal.

Red Barn Market

Known for their custom sandwiches, Red Barn is the perfect place to get that exact sandwich you’re craving. While you’re there, check out their always fresh selection of fruits and vegetables. Most of the produce is local and a decent price. In fact, you can grab essentials and a few fancy things for any home-cooked meal. They have an awesome meat and deli selection, frozen entrees and a curated selection of groceries. Needless to say, we are big fans and you should be too!

Royal Spice

If you’re in the mood for something with a bit more kick, Royal Spice is right around the corner and offers an Indian buffet worth stopping in for. They have a garlic naan to die for and their chicken curries are always packed with chicken (like they’re supposed to be). Beyond the buffet, you can find a la carte items to take-out and enjoy at home.

The Nest Cafe

For a quick nosh and go we highly recommend this cute cafe. They put care and time into their signature smoothie bowls with the PB & Cocoa bowl being a particular favourite. They also do a mean apple tart tartine and a perfectly crafted mocha. It’s the perfect place to grab a treat and a coffee and relax for a moment. You can get the cafe along the Galloping Goose trail so if you’re out for a bike ride, make sure to stop in!

The Crooked Goose

The Crooked Goose Bistro is packed with action. They do all the fun things like a Brewmaster’s Dinner Series and live music and their food is always close to home. It’s pub fare but the owner comes from one of Victoria’s premier restaurants, Brasserie L’Ecole so expect high-quality comfort dishes and great service. This is a very popular place with regulars galore so the ambiance is always lively and inviting!
